Tabernacle in the Wilderness Museum

This is Leslie Hale’s Tabernacle in the Wilderness Bible Museum. The modern day replica is produced by local television minister Leslie Hale, ‘The Irish Preacher’. Leslie said it was on his heart to bring forth the life sized biblical temple and he knew he would in fact complete the project. I have known Leslie years prior to becoming his project art designer. Ruthanne Hale introduced me to her Father when she hired me to update the church lobby about 10 years ago. Based upon several years of serving their ministry as an artist and decorator she in fact hired me to add my ideas with her vision of a spectacular outcome for the Tabernacle museum. Together, we designed and painted the sunset ceiling effect, polished desert floor treatment and 30’x125′ mural of ‘Mt. Sinai’ to give the auditorium this spectacular environment. I consider this interior to be an original work of art. We have designed several more original works of art which are at home in Leslie’s Tabernacle. There are also are nine other murals, an enormous map of Moses’ Exodus, beautiful tile designs, marbleized columns, a huge upholstered temple and tens of thousands of square feet of wall treatments! You have to see it to appreciate. I will add more images as they come. Thanks for viewing! Click on pictures to enlarge."SONY DSC" "SONY DSC"
