Sam and Barbara have a great business. This husband and wife team are focused on serving some of the best health conscious Mediterranean food available. They hired me to decorate their restaurant with murals. This work could be considered trompe leoil, (meaning to fool the eye). We designed it together but I hoped to surprised them by making it seem like you are looking out of old world architecture into the pink and blue mountains. The worn look and cracked plaster exposing brick was an effect which became very appealing. I enjoyed creating the stone block look and the colors are spot on to make the place pop! Supporting their wonderful cuisine was our goal and now their place a work of art. We worked closely to achieve these beautiful walls. BEST: couscous and BEST: hummus Visit them! They also cater!
